NIKKI SESSLER:

Nikki is a San Diego, California native who enjoys her family, traveling and being involved in racing. Prior to meeting Jerrod, Nikki was not a racing fan (at all). She didn't understand the fascination of watching people in really fast cars going around a circular track. Her interest in racing grew once she learned the logistics of it and what it takes to be a good at the sport. Since attending her first Nextel Cup race in Indianapolis, Indiana (the Brickyard 400) in 1997 she has

been hooked! Nikki supports Jerrod from the stands at all of his races and is undoubtedly his biggest fan.

On Jan 4, 1996, Jerrod & Nikki met on a blind date arranged by a mutual friend. For Nikki it was love at first sight, but it took Jerrod a little longer to get with the program. He finally came around a few months later and they were engaged by the end of July. They were married on November 1, 1996. Jerrod and Nikki are currently enjoying a new phase in their lives... parenthood. Gabriel (Gabe) joined the family in June 2001, and the his little sister, Farrell, was born in March 2003. While Jerrod's childhood dream was to drive race cars, Nikki's dream was to become a Mom. Both have now arrived at their "Winners Circle". There are also 2 more family members that deserve mention...the dogs, Gus & Ernie.

Away from the track, Nikki enjoys her relationships with other moms. Most of which have children similar in age to Gabe and Farrell. She takes care of the day to day activities of the family and make sure to create a true American home for her family. Nikki, like Jerrod, has also experienced some wonderful benefits from the diet and lifestyle change brought about by Jerrod's cancer diagnosis in 1999. There family adopted the Hallelujah Diet (www.hacres.com) in weeks that followed the diagnosis and have freed themselves of all physical ailments, sickness and disease from that time. Nikki consequently is very involved in leading the Sessler's personal ministry known as Hope4Health. For more information about this non-profit foundation, visit, www.hope4health.org.
